Jalon Calhoun

Jalen Calhoun will seek to be the Blue Devils leading receiver again in 2023. He’s coming off a career year, posting personal bests cross the board with 62 catches, 93 targets, 873 yards and four touchdowns. Further encouragement can be found in the fact Calhoun has increased his yards per catch in each of his last three years, showing more downfield ability despite his smaller 5-foot-10 frame, and budding yards after the catch. Entering his fifth-year season, Calhoun profiles as a known commodity. The downside is a lack of a weekly ceiling. Calhoun has only 13 touchdowns in his career, and only five 100-yard games. Duke’s offense should remain efficient in 2023 with high levels of returning pieces, which should enable Calhoun to keep on rolling. Their depth is their strength however and a fantasy weakness. As such, Calhoun makes for a nice target for wide receiver depth on draft night, but is not someone to build around.
