The Aggies have leaned on their tight ends in the passing game more than most since Jimbo Fisher’s arrival and Wydermyer, in particular, has been a staple since arriving in 2019. He ranked fourth among all tight ends in receptions (46) and tied for fourth in touchdowns with six. Kellen Mond is gone at quarterback but Texas A&M has talented replacements who will keep Wydermyer involved. Wydermyer is one of few tight ends with a target share reliably over 20 percent (23.2) and as he enters his junior season, he projects to be among the most productive players at his position.
