The Eagles opted not to shake up the running back room over the offseason, returning their top four tailbacks from 2023. Atop that list sits White, who handled 85 more carries than any other Georgia Southern rusher, producing 889 yards on the ground with nine touchdowns on 160 carries. White was in a timeshare with OJ Arnold early on but separated himself as the team's preferred ball carrier after posting three consecutive 100-yard games after Arnold went down in Week 8. Although not much changed in the backfield, the Eagles' offense drastically changes at the quarterback position. Davis Brin, who attempted the second-most passes in the nation last season, has graduated. Instead, the team will look to one of JC French - a former Georgia transfer who backed up Brin in 2023 - or Dexter Williams - a senior transfer from Indiana. Regardless of who's under center, the Georgia Southern attack doesn't figure to be as pass-heavy. French did appear in 10 games in 2023 with the Eagles but only attempted 16 passes while rushing the ball 14 times. Williams is also a mobile quarterback and holds a career 34.2 completion percentage but has added 40 rushes for 165 yards in his four collegiate games. As a focal point of the Georgia Southern offense, it wouldn't be surprising to see White handle multiple 20-plus carry games, which bodes exceptionally well for his fantasy value, considering he's averaged 5.6 yards per carry in each of his last three seasons.
