Returns to action
Bentley completed 28 of 41 passes for 354 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in Friday's 27-21 overtime loss to Coastal Carolina.
ANALYSIS
After dealing with a knee injury for the past few weeks, Bentley returned to the field for the Jaguars' last regular season game of the year. With bowl eligibility on the line, the pivot gave it his all, but came up just short in overtime. Bentley's college career has spanned six years and three schools, with the Lexington, S.C. native playing at South Carolina from 2016 to 2019, then spending 2020 at Utah before playing at South Alabama in 2021. If this was it, Bentley went down swinging.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2019
2018
Bentley decided to return for his senior season at South Carolina despite putting up career numbers in 2018. He passed for 3,171 yards and 27 touchdowns, placing him fourth in the SEC in both categories. He did lose leading receiver Deebo Samuel to the NFL, but Bryan Edwards and Shi Smith should be more than capable at wideout. The Gamecocks have an extremely difficult schedule which includes matchups with Clemson, Alabama and Georgia, though Bentley did toss five touchdowns against the defending champion Tigers last season. The schedule still won't do him any favors, but Bentley's ceiling is 3,500 yards and 30 touchdowns.
