Blue announced Friday via his personal Twitter account that he has committed to Virginia Tech, joining the program as a graduate transfer from Temple.

Blue is heading to a new team for his fifth season, and he will expect to see immediate playing time with Virginia Tech. As a senior, Blue had 30 receptions for 185 yards and one touchdown. These numbers were actually the lowest since his freshman year, with his best season being in 2019 when he caught 95 receptions for 1,067 yards and four touchdowns. Blue will have lots of opportunities to try and replicate what he did his sophomore year, as Blue is joining a Hokies team that is lacking depth and experience at the wide receiver position. Tre Turner went pro and Tayvion Robinson transferred to Kentucky, which means the only other experience wideout accompanying Blue will be Kaleb Smith.
