Jack Coan

While Coan’s 2019 pick didn’t sport the pizzazz that makes him valuable in the fantasy realm, he was a consistent presence under center en route to an 18:5 TD:INT ratio over his 14 games quarterbacking the offense. Coan’s 69.6 completion percentage ranked seventh in tin the country and his 151.76 quarterback rating slotted him 19th nationally. While that all looks great, Coan tossed more than two touchdown passes in a game just once all season (Week 2 versus Central Michigan) and could still face some competition for the starting job in camp in the form of Graham Mertz.It’s worth noting that Coan also really struggled in most games of note, sporting sub-7.0 yards per attempt in four of his six games versus ranked teams. Even with Jonathan Taylor gone, it’s tough to see Coan as anything more than a game-manager.
