Commits to Louisville
Bailey announced his commitment to Louisville on Thursday.
ANALYSIS
Malik Cunningham, Louisville's previous No. 1 quarterback, entered the 2023 NFL Draft. Needing a replacement, Louisville added several QBs using the NCAA's transfer portal. Now, Bailey will compete against fellow transfer Jack Plummer (previously of California) to be Louisville's No. 1 quarterback, the latter being more favorable.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Bailey has quite the battle ahead of him if he wants to be listed as the top quarterback for the Runnin’ Rebels come the fall. As a four-star quarterback coming out of high school, Bailey had a lot expected of him at his first school, Tennessee. He was never able to solidify a consistent position though, playing in just seven games and throwing for 594 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions in his two seasons with the Vols. Once he arrived at UNLV, he was initially listed as part of a three-way battle for QB1 with Cameron Friel and Doug Brumfield. Unfortunately for him, he has currently fallen out of the race and will need some exceptional performance for the rest of the summer if he wants to improve his position on the depth chart.
