Surgery on tap
Achilles
October 23, 2018
Davis (Achilles) will undergo surgery Friday on his torn Achilles, Colton Pouncy of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
Davis suffered a torn Achilles in Saturday's game against Michigan, potentially ending his collegiate career. The senior posted a strong campaign for the Spartans in 2018 and likely has an NFL future ahead of him. That will likely be his focus when he is healthy, barring a waiver of some kind that would allow him to return for another season.

College Football Draft Kit: 2018 Wide Receiver Preview
July 24, 2018
West Virginia's David Sills came out of the woodwork to establish himself as one of the top fantasy receivers in 2017. What will he do for his encore in an explosive Mountaineer offense?
2018 Fantasy Outlook
Davis wasn't afraid to utilize his 6-foot-4 frame in the red zone last season, racking up nine touchdown receptions as part of his 51 grabs for 658 yards despite missing two tilts. He also ranked seventh in the Big Ten in terms of targets, seeing 96 in 2017. With Brian Lewerke entering his second season under center for the Spartans as part of a surprisingly effective passing attack last season, the Spartans' offense should be productive again in 2018. Davis should serve as a centerpiece again in East Lansing and could see marked improvement following another offseason to jell with Lewerke.
