McDuffie has had a strange career trajectory, functioning as no more than the RB3 for most of his four years in Buffalo before breaking out in the second half of his fourth year, finishing with 1,049 yards rushing after previously never producing more than 150 yards in a season. He turned that showing into a starting opportunity with Georgia Tech, where the exits of Jahmyr Gibbs (Alabama) and Jordan Mason (NFL) have left them thin at running back. He'll need to beat Dontae Smith for that starting role, however, which isn't guaranteed.
