Oklahoma: Dorial Green-Beckham Will Enter NFL Draft
January 6, 2015
Green-Beckham declared for the 2015 NFL Draft on Tuesday, ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Green-Beckham transferred to Oklahoma last April after he was dismissed from Missouri's program following multiple off-field transgressions. Ruled ineligible for the 2014 season, Green-Beckham was only a practice player during his stay with the Sooners, but did avoid the legal troubles that had plagued him at his previous stop. Green-Beckham was the nation's top receiving recruit for the Class of 2012 and emerged as a red-zone threat during his sophomore year at Missouri, using his 6-foot-6 frame to tower over opposing defensive backs. Because he hasn't appeared in a game in over a year, his combine results will likely have a huge impact on where he ultimately lands in the draft.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2013
2012
The nation’s top recruit in 2012, Green-Beckham struggled with maturity issues off the field, and with inconsistent quarterback play on the field, disappointing those who spent heavily on him in dynasty leagues. He showed signs of life down the stretch, scoring four times in the final three contests. No one doubts the 6-foot-6, 220 pound specimen’s talent; it’s immense. A true breakout season may not be in the cards, but more than doubling his 28 catches and 395 yards seems more than reasonable. He’s too good not to improve.
DGB is one of the best of the best recruits of 2012, and he joins Missouri just as it transitions into the SEC. His rare talent makes him a player to target for depth in SEC-only leagues and is worth a late pick in other formats, but his production could be limited as a freshman. Missouri runs the ball quite a bit and the team has three established wideouts already in T.J. Moe, Marcus Lucas and L'Damian Washington.
