2020 Fantasy Outlook
Williams became the featured back for the Tigers with JaTarvious Whitlow’s surprising entry into the transfer portal. Williams saw significant playing time as a freshman last season even behind Whitlow on the depth chart, though. Williams rushed 84 times for 400 yards and two touchdowns. With Kam Martin also out of the picture, Williams should see close to 200 touches when all is said and done this season. Unfortunately, nearly all of his production will have to come from toting the pigskin, because Williams may not provide much opportunity as a pass catcher out of the backfield. He caught five passes for just 32 yards last season. Nevertheless, the volume as a rusher in what should be an improved offense gives Williams plenty of value.
