Unsurprisingly, the Panthers leaned on Reid in the bowl game a bit more than usual with starting quarterback Eli Holstein (ankle) out and backup Nate Yarnell in the transfer portal. It didn't help that the game required six overtimes to reach its conclusion, adding to Reid's season-best output. The junior fell just of 1,000 rushing yards for the season but finished with 183 carries for 962 yards and five scores, adding a ton of value as a receiver, totaling 52 catches for 579 yards and four touchdowns. Reid has already announced he'll return for the Panthers in 2025, and he'll certainly remain atop the depth chart.
