Darrin Hall

Hall enjoyed success down the stretch of the 2017 season, rushing for 520 yards and eight touchdowns during the final five games, although his usage was unpredictable at times. The senior tailback has proven that he’s a reliable rusher after failing to lose a fumble last season, and he’s also shown to be an effective pass catcher after hauling in 16 receptions for 157 yards and a score during his third collegiate season. He’s seemingly done enough in the offseason to retain his spot atop the depth chart, although Qadree Ollison could make a push for some carries after finding the end zone five times last year. The Panthers run a fairly run-heavy system, especially for an ACC school (52.65 percent rushing play percentage), so Hall figures to garner plenty of opportunities out of the backfield.
