Flips to UCF
UCF announced Wednesday that Gammage signed with the program as a graduate transfer from Marshall after flipping from his commitment to Purdue.
ANALYSIS
Gammage pledged his commitment to Purdue in early May and was expected to replace some of the vacated production at receiver with top wideout Charlie Jones moving on to the NFL, but he ultimately decided that UCF presented the better opportunity for him to continue his career. The addition of Gammage this late in the offseason is a major boon for UCF, as the 6-foot-4, 220-pound wideout logged 52 catches for 774 yards and six touchdowns on 76 targets as a redshirt junior in 2022. He'll be able to compete right away with UCF for his fifth and final year of eligibility.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Gammage was in the role of a safety valve, possession receiver in 2021. He reeled in 78 receptions, but they only went for 878 yards and two touchdowns. Now, nobody is going to knock a guy for 878 yards receiving. It's just that 7.7 yards per catch is not remarkable, and two touchdowns isn't really going to cut it for fantasy players. That being said, touchdown rates can be fluky. It's a little unlucky to catch 78 passes and only find he end zone twice. If Gammage is that involved in the offense again, he should score more. On the other hand, he has a new starting quarterback in Henry Colombi. Will Colombi look for Gammage as much as Grant Wells did? If not, Gammage may have hit his plateau.
