Christian Trahan
2024 Receiving Stats
2024 Receiving Projections
Best outing this season
Trahan caught six passes for 48 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 42-3 win at ECU.
ANALYSIS
Trahan had his best outing of the season Saturday, setting a season high in receptions and gaining his second most yards this season. Trahan has caught a touchdown in each of the last three games after not scoring prior to the streak. However, the senior tight end has caught two or fewer passes in six of his past eight games, so his floor remains quite low. Next Saturday's regular season finale is not an ideal matchup for Trahan, as Tulsa allows less than 200 passing yards per game.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Trahan was an integral part of the Cougars passing attack in 2021, compiling 37 receptions for 398 yards and two touchdowns. The senior tight end will look to build upon his role in the upcoming season. Houston’s offense has retained top-option Nathaniel Dell (90 receptions for 1,329 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2021), but Jeremy Singleton (29 receptions for 495 yards and five touchdowns in 2021) has transferred to Georgia Southern and Jake Herslow (36 receptions for 480 yards and five touchdowns in 2021) has been signed by the Seattle Seahawks. Trahan will likely handle a similar role during the 2022 season, as the competition for vacated targets will include: incoming four-star freshman, Matthew Golden, along with sophomore-transfer Sam Brown from West Virginia and sophomore-transfer Joseph Manjac from USC. Trahan’s established chemistry with quarterback Clayton Tune, figures to guarantee a similar role in the offense moving forward, despite an influx of new receivers fighting for vacated targets.
