Close to 100 yards in loss
Dike recorded five receptions (on eight targets) for 95 yards during Saturday's 49-17 loss against Texas.
ANALYSIS
Dike was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise dismal showing for the Gators, accounting for virtually all of the Florida passing yards for the game. Despite the quarterback position being in flux, Dike has gained at least 67 yards in four-straight outings. Florida faces LSU next weekend.

Dike is coming off his first season as the WR1 in Madison, and he’ll look to continue to hold that title this fall. The wideout posted 47 catches for 689 yards and six touchdowns as a junior, but was somewhat held back by Wisconsin’s painfully inept passing game. Dike will get a fresh start with new starting quarterback Tanner Mordecai and new offensive coordinator Phil Longo, who is set to implement a much more explosive, pass-heavy attack than the Badgers deployed with Graham Mertz and Paul Chryst. Wisconsin did bring in four transfer receivers, all of whom have the talent to immediately compete for snaps. Dike, however, is the most experienced receiver on the offense and should remain a top target this fall. He won’t wow you with his physical traits, but his soft hands and ability after the catch should help him stay on the field. Longo’s offense operates at a breakneck pace, and therefore receivers are rotated more often than in other systems, but the snaps and targets should be there for the taking for Dike in his senior year.
