Brice completed 15 of 26 passes for 253 yards and carried seven times for 40 yards in Saturday's 51-48 double-overtime loss to Georgia Southern.
ANALYSIS
Even though the Mountaineers scored five touchdowns in the high-scoring loss, Brice didn't have a hand in any of those scores. Instead, three different Appalachian State runners (Nate Noel, Daetrich Harrington and Ahmani Marshall) scored on the ground, while Michael Hughes added four field goals. Brice did account for a two-point pass to Noel following Harrington's four-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

2022 Fantasy Outlook
Five seasons and three schools into his college football journey, Brice has seemingly finally found a place to flourish in Boone. After backing up Trevor Lawrence at Clemson and putting in a stinker of a season at Duke, the pivot threw for 3,337 yards and 27 touchdowns against 11 interceptions last season. Through no fault of his own, however, Brice could potentially be in for a statistical regression this year. With three senior receivers departing and the two-headed monster of Nate Noel and Camerun Peoples in the backfield, Brice may be relegated to more of a game manager role simply due to personnel changes and an emphasis on the run game.
