Catches long TD in tight win
Tate hauled in all four targets for 102 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 21-17 victory over Nebraska.
ANALYSIS
Tate logged his first 100-yard receiving performance of the season. This was due in large part to his 40-yard receiving on a deep pass from Will Howard late in the first quarter. The sophomore wideout has not been a major factor in the passing game this season while operating behind a pair of standout pass-catchers in Jeremiah Smith and Emeka Egbuka. Tate has now recorded 19 catches (on 23 targets) for two touchdowns this season. He'll look to come up big again during next week's road game against the No. 3-ranked Nittany Lions.
