2023 Fantasy Outlook
Vandagriff is a redshirt sophomore who has thrown a total of three passes during his collegiate career. The quarterback room for the Bulldogs is crowded, with expected starter Carson Beck and redshirt freshman Gunner Stockton. While Beck is more experienced than his counterparts and should have the inside track to the starting quarterback spot at Georgia, Vandagriff is a highly touted recruit in his own right and was one of the top quarterbacks in the class of 2021. Vandagriff is also a local product from Athens Christian, and the son of a coach as well. While Vandagriff is not as big as Beck, calls for a change will come swiftly if Beck is even mediocre early on this season. The standards are extremely high at Georgia these days, and the 2024 commitments of Dylan Raiola and Ryan Puglisi will only serve to place even more pressure on Vandagriff and the rest of the quarterback room for the Bulldogs.
