Scores second touchdown
October 1, 2016
Sanders rushed for 12 yards and a touchdown on six carries while also adding a three yard catch in Saturday's win over Texas.
ANALYSIS
Sanders scored his second rushing touchdown out of a goal-line package and appears to be a situational player for the Cowboys. Freshman Justice Hill has emerged as the starting running back, meaning Sanders is still an injury or two away from holding any fantasy value. Oklahoma State will play Iowa State next week.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2014
2013
It's uncertain how much Stanford intends to use Sanders this year, but it might be time to unleash him. Although veteran backs like Stepfan Taylor, Tyler Gaffney and Anthony Wilkerson blocked Sanders' playing time the last two years, all three are gone, leaving the roster without a proven RB. Sanders, meanwhile, showed glimpses of major upside during the few times Stanford gave him the ball last season, turning five carries into 42 yards and a touchdown while taking four passes for 36 yards. It appears Sanders only needs to hold off former wideout Kelsey Young to emerge as the starter. If he does, he has major upside.
Sanders, a blue chip recruit in 2012, redshirted last year given the Cardinal’s depth at the running back position. With Stepfan Taylor gone, and Tyler Gaffney still adjusting back to football after spending last season playing baseball, Sanders should see plenty of opportunities in 2013. He’ll likely be listed behind Anthony Wilkerson and Gaffney on the depth chart, but he has the most upside of the three and could emerge as the dynamic, elusive back Stanford has lacked in recent years.
