Scores twice in blowout win
December 1, 2024
Raymond notched nine carries for 71 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 41-14 win versus Michigan State.
ANALYSIS
Raymond had his most efficient outing of the year as the Scarlet Knights ran all over the Spartans. The true freshman running back averaged a season-high 7.9 yards per carry while operating behind bell-cow back Kyle Monangai, who had 31 carries for 129 yards and a touchdown. Raymond also put Rutgers up 23-7 with a 13-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, and he capped the game with a five-yard score. Raymond should continue to serve as RB2 in the 7-5 Scarlet Knights' upcoming bowl game this postseason.
