Hardy announced on his personal Twitter feed Thursday that he'll opt out of the remainder of the 2020 season.

Hardy's production was down in 2019, but he bounced back over the first seven games of the 2020 campaign, hauling in 33 of his 60 targets for 440 yards and four touchdowns. He declared for the NFL Draft on Thursday, and he could be a late-round prospect as he looks forward to his professional career. Griffin Hebert and Isaiah Graham should see increased roles for Louisiana Tech over the rest of the season.

2019 Fantasy Outlook
We got our first real look at Hardy in 2018, and he made the most of it. As a sophomore, he racked up 75 catches for 1,145 yards and six touchdowns. That includes a coming-out party where he had 10 catches for 181 yards and two scores versus LSU. When you have those kinds of skills, you have the potential to really tear apart a Conference USA schedule. There is a lot of upside here, especially since Teddy Veal has graduated. It's not out of the question that Hardy will cross the 100-reception threshold in 2019.
