Smith will move back to the running back position after spending a season as Baylor's weak-side linebacker. Baylor will need talent at the position as no single player rushed for over 100 yards in a game last season. He'll back up Trestan Ebner who will have a signficant role in the passing game. Expect Smith to be more of the bruising and physical presence in the backfield, although he has limited reps at the position with just 12 career carries for 46 yards and a touchdown.
