This is probably not a good idea. Despite having a great deal of speed for a 230-pounder, Harper might go undrafted. He fell well below the expectations that were held for him as a former blue chip recruit, averaging just 3.86 yards per carry this season. Of course, he could just pull another Chris Henry (Arizona) on everyone and end up going in the first four rounds merely because of his 40-yard dash time, which could be in the 4.4-second range. One thing Harper does have going for him is that he's a good pass-catcher, as he caught 37 passes in 13 games this year.
