Leaving Cal for NFL
January 4, 2017
Hansen will enter the 2017 NFL Draft, ESPN writer Kyle Bonagura reports.
ANALYSIS
Hansen's departure leaves Cal without its best player from the 2016 roster, and a relatively thin group of players at the receiver position. Despite missing two games with an ankle injury, Hansen was thoroughly dominant in 2016, catching 92 passes for 1,249 yards and 11 touchdowns in 10 games. His exit sets the stage for Demetris Robertson and Melquise Stovall to lead the way in 2017.
