Palandech was a force for the Rebels both with his arm and his legs, as he carried UNLV to a thrilling victory in an offensive shootout. Saturday’s win was the junior quarterback’s first start of the season after initially losing out on the early-season quarterback competition, but Palandach’s breakout performance Saturday seemed to have solidified him as UNLV’s starting signal caller moving forward. He will be tested once again this week when the Rebels travel to face a Boise State team that is undefeated at home this season.
