Harris ran seven times for 35 yards Saturday at Vanderbilt. He added three receptions for 40 yards.
ANALYSIS
Harris didn't top 100 yards in any game this season, and finished with just 470 yards on the season. Those certainly weren't the numbers Harris had hoped for when he regained his eligibility in August.

No one has ever questioned Harris’ talent, simply his durability. He’s missed significant action in each of the last two seasons, mostly due to concussions, and as a result, it’s just hard to trust the rising senior. He has big-play ability, and if he gets 15-20 carries over 12 games, he could be a real valuable flier late. But given the track record, he’s better left to the waiver wire, or to be someone else’s headache in most formats.
After a promising 2010 season in which he ran for 720 yards and seven touchdowns on 5.8 yards per carry, Harris' 2011 season was a dud, as he finished with just 432 yards (4.3 YPC) and three touchdowns. The departure of 2011 senior Brandon Pendergrass (823 yards and nine touchdowns rushing) will give Harris more opportunity in 2012, however, so he's worth picking in ACC-only leagues and should be monitored closely in other leagues, too.
Harris was promising as a redshirt freshman last year, with his 241-yard, two-touchdown performance (on just 20 carries) against Virginia Tech being an especially strong reason for optimism. He finished the year with an average of 5.8 yards per carry and figures to get more work in 2011, though how much isn't clear. He's worth a look in many league scenarios and is a top running back option in ACC-only leagues.
