What a disaster. Despite having Max Scherzer (16 points) going in four entries and Ian Kennedy (14 points) going in one, zero of my eight lineups cashed, and it wasn't even close. And that's with two of them being 50/50s.
Nonetheless, as infuriating as DFS can be while the games are going on, it's refreshingly easy to move on once you've lost. So I'm out $45, and my bankroll is down to $907. But it's over, and I'm not saddled with some embarrassingly bad season-long team for which I still have to spend time making moves all season. Don't get me wrong, season-long is still where my heart is, but it's liberating to wash your hands of a disaster without having to bother cleaning it up. It must be how my three-year old daughter feels after she dumps all the puzzle pieces and toys onto our living room floor.
It's likely I'll play a couple lineups tonight. If so, I'll post those later.
