I hastily set four lineups today, two of which are for the RotoWire/Fanduel Baseball Qualifier and the Tout Wars Daily contest, neither of which I'm counting toward my overall bankroll tally because they're free-rolls and will distort my results. But I'll post those below too.
One reason I feel hurried setting lineups is I want to record/explain them in the blog before the games start to ensure maximum transparency. I suppose I could take a screenshot of my lineup or tweet it out, but it's more clearly laid out and easier to check back on in this space than buried among 10 thousand tweets. I'll write more on the importance of transparency when I have time - for a general idea of what I'm aiming for, this post by NYU professor Jay Rosen is a good start.

I might have been too chalky with Kershaw, and I'm extra nervous about it because I drafted him No. 2 overall in the NFBC Main Event. But I liked a lot of the cheap hitting options like left-handed Indians bats against Mike Pelfrey. I also liked Yankees at home against Nate Karns*.
The last lineup is a tournament wild card with J.A. Happ hosting the Rangers. I have misgivings about it because I have Happ going in a few places in season-long. But as much as I don't want to let season-long rooting interests creep into my DFS lineups, it's a mistake to avoid them too. I like that the lefty Happ gets a mostly left-handed Rangers lineup in a park that's tough on the few righties he'll have to face.
* Kevin Payne just reminded me the Yankees are in Tampa, not at Yankee Stadium! Too late to swap them out now.
