• Andre Johnson and Arian Foster both missed practice again Sunday. Houston's two most important offensive weapons are nursing hamstring injuries. While new coach Bill O'Brien claims neither injury is serious, both Johnson and Foster have had their share of injuries the last few seasons, so monitor both players accordingly. Assuming health, both Johnson and Foster are Top 10-15 options at their respective positions.
• Brandin Cooks is quickly making a name for himself in Saints camp. The rookie WR put on a show during the team's Black and Gold scrimmage Saturday and is establishing himself as a potential rookie breakout. While rookie wideouts rarely make a big impact, Cooks is in the perfect situation to challenge that old adage. The Saints are a dynamic offense with a superstar QB at the top of his game. Furthermore, the departures of Lance Moore and Darren Sproles have created the ideal opening for Cooks to make an immediate impact. Cooks' ability to line up all over the field, along with his game breaking speed and shiftiness, all lend credence to the belief that he will contribute far more than one would expect from a prototypical rookie WR.
• Sam Bradford looks to be fully recovered from the torn ACL that ended his 2013 season last October. Bradford has impressed coaches and teammates with the zip on his throws in camp and is said to have improved on deep passes, as well. Bradford worked extensively on his upper body strength while recovering from the ACL tear, and it appears that work has paid off. Bradford has never lived up to his potential as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 Draft, and thus, there is a lot of pressure on him to finally break out this season. If Bradford does not take a step forward this season, the Rams may be forced to seek alternatives at QB next season.
• Chris Johnson felt healthy and strong after his first full-contact action since offseason knee surgery. Johnson participated in a team scrimmage Saturday, and while the results - 5 carries for 14 yards - were middling at best, Johnson came out of the scrimmage feeling confident in the surgically repaired knee. Johnson has only missed one game in his six-year career, but has failed to live up to expectations the last three seasons after scoring 14 and 11 touchdowns, respectively, in 2009 and 2010. Johnson is motivated to return to his former glory in his first season with the Jets, and the health of his knee will certainly play a big role in his ability to do so.
• T.Y. Hilton returned to practice after missing a session with a jammed finger. All indications are that this is a minor issue and will not be a problem. Hilton is crucial to Andrew Luck's fantasy value this season, and to the Colts success in general, as he emerged as the team's go-to WR in 2013 after Reggie Wayne was lost for the season.
• Teddy Bridgewater had a decent performance in the Vikings' team scrimmage Saturday completing 20-of-25 attempts with a touchdown and an interception. While Matt Cassel has taken the majority of the first team reps in camp, Bridgewater is still competing to be the starter.
