- Marshawn Lynch ended his holdout and reported to training camp. Lynch was accumulating fines and it'll be interesting to see which side blinked first, if we ever find out. Most fantasy pundits have been split on Lynch's value with some pointing out his gaudy stats last season while others will bring up his mileage and capable backups behind him. Look for him to be a late first/early second round pick in most formats. At that price, it's doubtful he'll find his way on to any of my teams.
- Allen Robinson left practice with a hamstring injury. The injury isn't believed to be serious but Robinson has been dealing with this since offseason workouts. Both Robinson and fellow rookie Marquise Lee have drawn rave reviews from the coaching staff and one of them is likely to line up opposite Cecil Shorts Week 1. Both are interesting late round sleepers for a team that may have to throw the ball a lot and gain garbage time stats.
- Mike Wallace will sit out at least until next week. There shouldn't be a huge red flag right now unless there's some type of setback over the next week. Ryan Tannehill could be poised for a breakout in year three and Wallace would be a big part if that happens. Reports are Tannehill worked extensively during the offseason on his deep ball and he improved from three to 10 pass plays of over 40 yards last season.
- Andre Ellington will return to practice Friday. Ellington has been out of practice since Monday due to a neck injury that isn't considered serious. He's getting a lot of buzz early but he likely won't end up on any of my teams. At 5'9" and less than 200 lbs., I have a hard time thinking he can handle 250-300 touches this season. That stature may cost him goal line work at some point as both Stepfan Taylor and Jonathan Dwyer are bigger ball carriers.
- Teddy Bridgewater took some snaps with the first team during practice. Matt Cassel is expected to be under center to start the season but there's a good chance we see Bridgewater take over at some point should Minnesota fall out of the playoff race.
- David Wilson will have his neck examined by the doctor who performed his offseason surgery. There's a chance Wilson has already played his last down in the NFL and it's probably wise to pass on him if you have your draft over the next few days. As far as the rest of the running backs after Rashad Jennings, Andre Williams offers the most upside. Williams was a beast last season at Boston College where he had five games of over 200 rushing yards.
- Both Michael Crabtree and T.Y. Hilton missed practice Thursday due to different reasons. Hilton missed with a jammed finger and Crabtree was out for an undisclosed reason. Neither is expected to miss any time but note their absences in case anything more evolves out of this.
