- Frederik Andersen is incredible. His rebound control. His calm. His compete. The Great Dane should get serious consideration for the Vezina, just like the Bolts' Andrei Vasilevskiy.
- Auston Matthews has been on the losing end of a lot of reviews. They got this one right -- there's no way Tuukka Rask could have gotten across the crease, with or without a Zach Hyman bump.
- I love The Best Line in Hockey (insert trademark), but get them off their game and they play as individuals. I'm talking to you, Pasta and Honey Badger. GYST.
- Sam Bennett has the best moustache since Lanny McDonald. It's majestic.
- Ron Hainsey was trending across Canada on Twitter on Friday night. Yah, Ron freaking Hainsey. Maybe Mike Babcock is on to something with this guy.
- Steve Yzerman's smile said it all. He's home. Detroit has its legend back and the resurrection has begun.
- Nathan MacKinnon is the best player in hockey right now. Discuss.
- Tuukka Rask is an emotional guy. Game 6 should be an edgy adventure. Boston needs him to get his $&%! together. There's a lot of that going around.
- James Neal, officially scratched. July 2, 2018 could go down as the most expensive mistake in Flames history.
- I've never had a playoff pool go up in smoke so early in the postseason. I picked a reprisal of 2004 -- yep, Bolts and Flames. I'm glad it was a no-cash pool.
