Box Score Breakdown -- Tuesday, December 9th

The Nets are trading everyone, the Cavs roll to eight straight, the Pistons are still abysmal. They are the CliffNotes for Tuesday's action. But, the Box Score Breakdown is here to look into the games in much more detail than that. So what are you waiting for? Scroll down!

ADD ME! ADD ME!

He continues to perform, but the fantasy ownership is not keeping pace with his play. I'm talking about, of course, Amar'e Stoudemire, who has been in blistering form of late, and put an exclamation point on his recent production, scoring 26 points (11-18 FG, 4-6 FT) with five rebounds and five blocks in 32 minutes. Over his last four games, Stoudemire is averaging 16.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks on 62 percent shooting and going at 75 percent from the line. The injuries are always a concern for Stoudemire, but while he's fit and firing, he is a guy who should be owned in 10 team leagues.

CASUALTY WARD

Josh McRoberts hurt his knee with two minutes remaining Tuesday, but said that he will be alright and will likely play Wednesday. He had 10 points, four rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 33 minutes. The green light is on and it's time to pick up McRoberts in most leagues.

Monta Ellis labored through a right elbow injury Tuesday and it clearly effected his shot, going 1-of-11 for just two points in his worst performance of the season. He doesn't think it will be an ongoing issue and is considered questionable for Wednesday.

FANTASY LINE OF THE NIGHT

It could've been LeBron James, but instead, it was his former Miami Heat teammate, Chris Bosh, who takes the honors for Tuesday's slate of games. Bosh had 34 points (14-21 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with nine rebounds, one assist, and four steals in 37 minutes. The 34 points are a season-high for Bosh, and despite a slight slump lately, he has exceeded his draft position and is giving great value, despite the fact that the Heat are slipping down the standings. Just enjoy the fantasy goodness that comes from being the man down in South Beach.

BOX SCORE HIGHLIGHTS AND ODDITIES

Landry Fields started in place of Greivis Vasquez due to a combination of Vasquez's illness and defensive matchups, with coach Dwane Casey wanting to use Fields to guard LeBron James, which didn't quite go to plan. Fields has zero fantasy value, while Vasquez's and Lou Williams both struggled in this game.

Patrick Patterson had another nice game, scoring 12 points with two three-pointers and two blocks in 26 minutes. He's averaging 2.0 three-pointers with 7.3 rebounds in his last eight games and has some sneaky value for 12 team leagues. Don't drop anyone of value for him, but while the hot shooting continues (50 percent from beyond the arc in his last eight), he's worth a look.

About stopping LeBron. Yeah, that didn't really happen as the King went off for 35 points with two rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks in 42 minutes. We keep thinking the minutes will come down, but that hasn't happened yet. At some stage, now that the Cavs are rolling, we should see a reduction in the time James is spending on the court.

Dion Waiter hit three three-pointers on his way to 18 points, but even with 44 points in his last two games, Waiters has limited fantasy value. I'm not adding him unless my league has at least 14 teams.

With Jodie Meeks on the horizon for the Pistons, the poor play of Kentavious Caldwell-Pope continues to be a frustration. KCP had 11 points with two steals in 25 minutes and could very well be supplanted as the starter by this time next week. If you own him in 12 team leagues, I'm not keen on keeping him.

Andre Drummond had 10 points and 15 rebounds, but shot a putrid 3-of-12 from the field and the inconsistencies continue. It's virtually impossible to trade him for what he is worth, so owners just need to hope it solidifies.

Carmelo Anthony, who is still dealing with a knee issue, struggled again with 17 points and eight rebounds. If you drafted Anthony, you are probably tearing your hair out and it's getting to the stage where you need to take cents on the dollar for him. Don't go too crazy though.

Iman Shumpert's fantasy value has evaporated into thin air over the last few weeks and has no place on a standard league roster, scoring two points, with four rebounds, and four assists.

Tyreke Evans had his most efficient night of the season, scoring 27 points (11-15 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT) with four rebounds, six assists, and two steals. Evans is a great counting stats, head-to-head player, but his percentages usually torpedo your team. Tuesday was the exception.

Anthony Davis was average, which for him means 18 points, eight rebounds, one steal and three blocks. Yeah, he's good.

Larry Sanders managed just 13 minutes, accumulating four fouls in that time, totaling just six points with two rebounds. He did add three steals, but no blocks and is too inconsistent to own in most leagues.

Brandon Knight was off his game, scoring just nine points with three rebounds, and three assists, but that looks likely to be an off night. No need to panic.

Kevin Durant approached his usual exemplary self, scoring 23 points with nine rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and one block in 29 minutes. When the minutes limit is lifted, he should have 100 percent Durant for our fantasy teams.

Serge Ibaka didn't miss a shot on his way to 15 points with five rebounds, two steals and three blocks and his play has perked up with the return of KD, unsurprisingly. His rebounds are still down on last season, as are his blocks, but both should look to improve in the coming weeks.

Chandler Parsons took the scoring mantle for the Mavericks, pouring in 30 points with six three-pointers, seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block in 34 minutes. That makes two superb games in a row for Parsons for those keeping score at home, and while this form isn't sustainable, he'll be better than he was to start off the season.

Courtney Lee played just 19 minutes, scoring four points with two steals and his value in standard leagues has disappeared before our eyes. He'll continue to start, but in your fantasy league, you can look elsewhere.

Along with Chris Bosh, Luol Deng went off for 23 points, four rebounds, three assists, one steal, and two blocks in 34 minutes. If you could trade Deng, now is the time to do it, because this is not what he is as a player.

If Dwyane Wade misses time with his headache, which is a huge possibility, given the team is heading to Denver, Mario Chalmers is a great daily league and streaming option. He's excelled in his starts this season and when, not if, Wade misses time, Chalmers is worth a look in most leagues.

Marcus Morris blew up off the bench, scoring 25 points (10-13 FG, 5-6 3Pt) with five rebounds, four assists and two steals in 37 minutes. This is likely one out of the bag as Morris has struggled, especially since being demoted in favor of P.J. Tucker. He's only in consideration in deeper leagues.

Eric Bledsoe, unsurprisingly, couldn't backup his monstrous line from Monday, hitting just 2-of-11 for four points, but did add five rebounds and eight assists. Both lines sit at either end of the performance spectrum for Bledsoe.

Tim Duncan was amazing, again, scoring 23 points with 14 rebounds, three steals, and four blocks in 36 minutes. He's been fantastic this season, even in 30 minutes a game and if you took the risk, you have been rewarded so far.

Cory Joseph started in place of Tony Parker, but struggled scoring seven points with two blocks and a whole lot of zeroes. As long as Parker is out, Joseph is a nice daily fantasy play and streaming option, but that's about it.

Enes Kanter grabbed 15 boards, and over his last three games, is averaging 15.0 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks per game. If he's available in your league, he's worth an add as the challenge from Rudy Gobert and Trevor Booker has been reduced to a whimper.

Reggie Evans grabbed 14 rebounds in 30 minutes in another start in place of DeMarcus Cousins and is a nice rebound option for as long as Cousins remains out. Just don't expect too much more.

Carlos Boozer had 15 points and nine rebounds in 28 minutes off the bench and so far, he has returned the same value off the pine or in the starting five. You can drop him if you like, but we haven't seen much of a drop off since Ed Davis became the starter,

Jeremy Lin is struggling, though, in a backup role, despite the fact that Ronnie Price is not playing well. I'm still holding Lin despite the six points and eight assists total in the last two games. At least for another week.
