Best of Five for Lord Stanley

- Are the Caps screwed if Evgeny Kuznetsov's wrist is as broken as it looks? Let me rephrase that -- HOW SCREWED are the Caps if that wing is busted?
- Holy Holtby. Marc-Andre Fleury will win the Conn Smythe, win or lose, but Wednesday's MVP was big bad Braden. That sprawling paddle save late in the third on that five-on-three PK was SportsCenter worthy.
- Hands up if you picked a Caps-Knights Final. Nope, me either. But I'm loving it. You?
- GK mania? Chance the Gila monster mascot delivered LVGK "Vegas Born" onsies to the newborns in the maternity ward at a Vegas hospital before the game. This team has stolen the hearts of everyone ... except those living in D.C., of course.
- Alexander Ovechkin delivers. Again. The Caps really are a different team this year.
- And the award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role goes to ... James Neal. What a performance. That so-called elbow to the face will be on the refs' review roll for sure.
- Lars Eller's value, especially on the power play, just took a massive leap with Kuznetsov's injury. The Caps will need him to continue his offensive escapades in games three through seven, though. This will be a long series.
- 220. That's the number of games that Brooks Orpik had gone between goals. It wasn't pretty -- a deflection and then a bounce off not one, but two posts before it slipped over the goal line. At this rate, his next snipe won't come until about 2021.
- Back to Kuznetsov. I don't know how that wrist or forearm isn't broken. Gulp. The series may have just tilted. Hard.
