I can't believe college football finally starts tonight. I'm not quite ready for the season to start, though I'm still pumped. We're trying out Head2Head's Salary Cap college game this year, along with two other leagues that I'm in. Here's who I went with for my $100 cap:
$16.5 QB Aaron Murray - I love the matchup vs. Buffalo. Weak enough that UGA should move the ball easily, but not so weak that the starters will be out by the 2nd quarter.
$13.2 RB DeAnthony Thomas - expensive, and in a timeshare, but with a freshman QB at the helm, I think that the Ducks run a little more this week.
$7.9 RB Mike Gillislee - I also have Florida's starter in the NCAA Project league, a 24-team, 16-round league that includes three keepers.
$6.3 RB Keith Marshall - Cheap gamble on a frosh that should get a lot of play early on.
$12.2 WR Marquise Lee - I always invest in elite WR's in the college game.
$13.8 WR Marquess Wilson - See above.
$7.4 WR Jaxon Shipley - Was given this with my default lineup, decided just to go with it.
$5.2 K Andrew Furney, Washington St. - Cheap kicker on a presumably potent offense
$9.8 D Mississippi St. - Defenses were pretty expensive overall. I'll take an SEC team at home against a tomato can for a relatively cheap price.
$7.7 Flex Eric Highsmith, wr, UNC - A trendy sleeper in the industry, came cheap.
