Robert Griffin III beat Andrew Luck in the first professional meeting between the two.
This was only a preseason game and means absolutely nothing. However, both quarterbacks have looked fantastic this preseason and seem have a lot of upside this season if you miss out on an early round quarterback. Their current ADPs:
Isaac Redman (hip) rushed 12 times for 24 yards and a touchdown against the Bills.
Redman had practiced the three days leading up to the Bills game although he's acknowledged the hip could be an issue throughout the season. With Rashard Mendenhall expected to make his return at some point this season, a strong start by Redman would make him the ideal "sell high" candidate early in the season.
DavidDeCastro suffered a right kneeinjurywhich will keep him out for "awhile."
A huge blow to the Steelers offensive line after they got a great value in DeCastro selecting him with the 24th overall pick in this year's draft. The Steelers offensive line was looking to be in good shape after several seasons of struggle and potentially losing DeCastro for the season is an obvious setback.
Kevin Smith left Saturday night's game with an ankle sprain.
It was only a matter of time. X-Rays came back negative and the Lions have stressed it's not a high ankle sprain which would be much worse. Look for the Lions to take it easy with Smith as he's slated to be the No.1 running back to start the season. A healthy Smith could take the job and run with it even after Mikel Leshoure returns from suspension. Of course, "healthy" and "Kevin Smith" are typically not words used in the same sentence.
Matthew Stafford suffered a minor injury to his non-throwing hand.
The injury is not thought to be serious and it's thought he could have played through the injury had this been a regular season game. For now there appears to be no reason to adjust him on your cheat sheets.
