Did you have time to watch all 12 games Wednesday? Fear not, as I'm here to pour over the minutiae of the NBA box scores and extract all that fine fantasy goodness for you, in today's Box Score Breakdown.
ADD ME! ADD ME!
After missing the past two games with a concussion, Courtney Lee returned to the Grizzlies starting lineup and made a beeline for my heart, with a huge performance. Lee has started all three of the games he has played in this season, but is only owned in one percent of ESPN leagues and 17 percent of Yahoo leagues. Against the Suns, Lee dropped 22 points (9-14 FG, 4-5 3Pt) with three rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block in 39 minutes. One of the most important fantasy stats is minutes and that's now 35 and 39 minutes in the two full games Lee has played. With ho he's playing at the moment, I have no hesitation in recommending he be owned in all 12 team leagues, probably even 10 team leagues. Once he slides, then you can cut him to make way for the next flavor of the moment.
DROP HIM LIKE HE'S HOT
Norris Cole was one of the hotter waiver-wire adds in the first week of the season, with his ownership percentage rising dramatically once he was named the opening day starter at point guard for the Miami Heat. However, If you grabbed in him in a 10, 12, or even 14 team league, I'd be looking to move on from him now. In his latest disappointing outing, Cole scored just two points (1-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt) with four rebounds and a solitary assist in 22 minutes Wednesday and is now averaging just 4.3 points in his last four games, along with 2.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists on a paltry 32 percent shooting from the field. You can find a lot better production on the waiver-wire.

CASUALTY WARD
The Thunder didn't play but we still had some injuries. The most fantasy relevant was Nerlens Noel going down with a sprained left ankle. Noel said after the game that it wasn't too bad and there was minimal swelling, so he is questionable for Friday. If he does miss, assume Henry Sims would rejoin the starting lineup and play next to Brandon Davies.
Tiago Splitter and David Lee both made their season debuts, and both re-aggravated the injuries that forced them to delay the start of their 2014-15 season. Lee's timetable is unknown at this stage, but it seems likely he'll miss the Warriors upcoming back-to-back set on the weekend, allowing Draymond Green more run. The Spurs play again Thursday, so it's doubtful Splitter will play after lasting just 11 minutes Wednesday.
Pablo Prigioni suffered a sprained ankle after just six minutes of court time and with Jose Calderon already out, even more responsibility will fall the way of Shane Larkin if Prigioni misses any time.
FANTASY LINE OF THE NIGHT
I'm just going to ignore the fact that he had nine turnovers (if you're in a nine category rotisserie league, you won't be able to do that though), and give the line of the night award to Tony Wroten of the Philadelphia 76ers. Wroten, who is excelling in place of Michael Carter-Williams scored a game-high 27 points (9-16 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 5-7 FT) with three rebounds, eight assists, five steals, and two blocks in 35 minutes. If he's not owned in your league, you need to pounce, even if his value will dissipate when MCW returns sometime next week.
ROOKIE OF THE NIGHT
With Noel hurt, it was left to Elfrid Payton to lead the way for the rookies, yet again. It was a low-key line of eight points (4-8 FG, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, five assists, four steals, and one block in just 28 minutes. This was his lowest assist output of the season and is a solid head-to-head fantasy player at this early stage of his career. Roto is another story entirely.
TRIPLE-DOUBLE WATCH
The NBA's leading exponent of the triple-double came through Wednesday, notching the second one of the season. Rajon Rondo had 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 15 assists in 37 minutes. Expect there to be more where that came from this season.
Ricky Rubio came close, with 14 points, eight rebounds and 12 assists, also adding two steals and shooting over 50 percent for the field in what only can be considered a mild shock for him. He field goal percentage for the season is currently sitting at 42 percent, a nice rise from last season's 38 percent.
Carmelo Anthony couldn't score as well as we have become accustomed to, but approached a triple-double Wednesday with 13 points, six rebounds, and eight assists in 39 minutes. He shot a horrendous 5-of-21 from the field, failing to hit a three pointer on four attempts.
Brandon Knight added to the night of big lines, getting a 4x5 and a near triple-double with 10 points (3-15 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists, and five steals. Knight is playing the best ball of his career and while it's unlikely to continue at this stellar rate, I wouldn't be selling him because a good portion of this production is reproducible and I doubt you'll get actual value in a deal. If you can, by all means pull the trigger, but otherwise, just enjoy the value from your likely ninth round pick.
BOX SCORE HIGHLIGHTS AND ODDITIES
The NBA is back and it's time to delve a little deeper into the stats that our favorite, (and not so favorite) players put up.
Josh McRoberts played just eight minutes again, scoring two points and the Heat are in no rush to get back to full minutes. He's hard to hold in 12 team leagues.
Kemba Walker was ridiculously efficient for the Hornets, scoring 18 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), adding four rebounds, seven assists, and two steals in 34 minutes. This is the Kemba we want to see more often.
In addition to hitting the game winner, Tobias Harris dropped 18 points (8-18 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with eight rebounds, two steals and one block and is really balling out in his contract year. You likely got Harris late in drafts and has so far, paid you back handsomely.
In another start, Brandon Davies scored 20 points (9-11 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-4 FT) with four rebounds and with Noel questionable for the Sixers' next game, Davies should be considered an option in any league as a streaming option. The fate of Henry Sims remains clouded if Davies keeps up this form, with a drop likely coming Sims' way if this minute distribution continues.
Kyle Lowry had his best night, scoring wise, of the season dropping 35 points against the Celtics, shooting a highly efficient 12-of-17 from the field. He added four boards, three assists, and two steals in 36 minutes and now has upped his scoring average to 19.6 for the season.
Both Kelly Olynyk (18 and 13) and Jared Sullinger (19 and 16) posted impressive double-doubles, showing the potential of what this frontcourt can be in the future. I was really high on both guys, and Olynyk is available still in a lot of leagues. I didn't drop him anywhere, and I'd have no issue with you adding him to your roster.
With Brook Lopez back, Mason Plumlee's value is taking a hit. He played just 13 minutes for two points and four rebounds and it's becoming hard to justify keeping him in standard leagues. We know Lopez is brittle, but a non-producing roster spot in a shallow league is a sure-fire recipe for disaster.
Iman Shumpert played very well, yet again, scoring in double digits for the fourth consecutive game. He scored 15 points (5-13 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT) with six rebounds and five assists in 36 minutes, and has now hit 10 triples in the past three games. I'm liking Shumpert in all leagues at the moment as he is clearly a favorite of Derek Fisher and Phil Jackson.
Greg Monroe rejoined the starting lineup and led the Pistons to their first win of the season, with a monster line of 23 points (8-17 FG, 7-8 FT) and 18 rebounds in 36 minutes. Both Josh Smith and Andre Drummond were underwhelming to say the least and Monroe has looked the best of the trio so far this season. It's amazing what playing for some big money can do.
No Joakim Noah, so Taj Gibson went off again, scoring 23 points (9-17 FG, 5-9 FT) with 10 rebounds, two assists, and one steal. I'm sure you already know this, but if one of Pau Gasol or Noah miss extended time, Gibson becomes someone who absolutely must be owned in all leagues, in fact he should be owned regardless.
The Bucks continue to be a fantasy wasteland outside of Knight, although Larry Sanders was able to provide some value with some nice defensive numbers. Sanders had two blocks and two steals in 23, foul plagued minutes, adding nine rebounds and six points.
Donald Sloan provided one of the more "Huh?" moments of the young season, posting a monstrous 31 points (11-21 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT) with six rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and one block in 43 minutes. He should be owned in 100 percent of leagues while George Hill remains out, yet that isn't the case. Check your waiver-wire ASAP.
The Garrett Temple experience continues unabated with another 16 points (6-14 FG, 4-7 3Pt), seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals. He's a much better option than many of the guys who are currently on fantasy rosters and is making the most of his opportunity with Bradley Beal out.
Tim Duncan stuffed the stat sheet for the champions in the win over the Hawks, scoring 17 points (5-12 FG, 7-12 FT), 13 rebounds, four assists, three steals, and six blocks in 35 minutes. Aside from the uncharacteristic poor efficiency, Duncan was close to the best player of the night and is now averaging 32 minutes a night this season, perhaps showing why it was folly to avoid him in drafts. It is quite early though.
Kyrie Irving accomplished a rare feat, playing 45 minutes as a point guard and not registering a single assist. In fact, the Cavs had just six as a team in the loss to the Jazz. Irving did add 34 points (12-23 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 8-10 FT) and two steals, but it was just odd to see the big goose egg in the assist column. This team is still figuring things out, obviously.
It was Eric Bledsoe's turn to go off for the Suns, scoring 23 points with five rebounds and four assists and after Isaiah Thomas' big night Tuesday, could mean Goran Dragic is on deck. He'd want to be to placate his owners, after scoring just six points with three assists in 26 minutes Wednesday.
The Denver Nuggets' center rotation continues to be muddied, with Timofey Mozgov playing 11 minutes, JaVale McGee playing 13 minutes and rookie Jusuf Nurkic playing 13 minutes. The rest of the time went to Darrell Arthur and Brian Shaw is quickly approaching the Jason Kidd/Larry Drew/Ty Corbin zone for frustrating coaches for fantasy.
Draymond Green had his best line of the year, scoring 24 points (8-13 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT) with eight rebounds, five assists, one steal, and one block in 36 minutes. He hasn't been this productive so far this season, but will continue to get the chance, with Lee's injury flaring up in the this game.
