We've formed a partnership an internet TV company - The Pulse Network (thepulsenetwork.com) to do a segment live every day at 11:30 through Skype. Our own DVR started doing this on Monday and Friday during football and it's expanded to being an everyday segment with different contributors. They offer other content than just sports with views on business, health, fashion, politics, style and technology. The writers you'll hear from include:
Monday - Sam Brylski talking numbers and advanced stats. See what he thinks about Pablo Sandoval.
Tuesday - Jeff Stotts will bring you up to date on any injury in any sport. Check out his usage of licorice to see what happened to Jay Cutler.
Wednesday - Hockey night (day)! Andrew Fiorentino and Jan Levine talk about pucks. Andrew discusses his misery about being a NY fan living in Philly.
Thursday - Bernie Pleskoff is under the straw hat talking about how cold it is in Arizona and more importantly his scouting observations for the upcoming season.
Friday - Me, Kevin Payne. Feel free to rip on me for letting my wife talk me into a shade of cranberry in our den.
The cool thing about the site is that all of our segments are on-demand; to search for a certain guy, put their name in the upper right corner.
We do all the content talking with The Pulse Network's Butch Stearns, a self-proclaimed Boston fan. As a New York guy, I'll try (but probably won't) let that slide. Check it out in your spare time.
