Here's the top 10 in the AP Poll
1. Ohio State
2. Oregon
3. Boise State
4. TCU
5. Nebraska
6. Oklahoma
7. Auburn
8. Alabama
9. LSU
10. South Carolina
After their loss this weekend, 'Bama at minimum needs to be ranked behind Auburn and South Carolina. I'm not sure how voters managed to screw that up. Auburn beat South Carolina & South Carolina beat Alabama, so shouldn't they be ranked Auburn, South Carolina, & Alabama?
There's an argument that LSU should be ranked ahead of 'Bama because they're still undefeated and have beaten Florida and West Virginia. Just watching this team though, there's no way I would rank them ahead of the Tide. I'm not even sure I'd have them ahead of a team like Stanford or Michigan State.
My top 10
1. Ohio State
2. Oregon
3. Boise State
4. Nebraska
5. TCU
6. Oklahoma
7. Auburn
8. South Carolina
9. Alabama
10. Michigan State
I have Nebraska ahead of TCU because of the play of Taylor Martinez. I view Oklahoma and Auburn as equals, with the Sooners getting the slight nod because they dusted FSU. Michigan State gets the last spot because they're the first team to stop Denard Robinson.
We get the BCS rankings on Sunday, but here's what ESPN has projected for right now...
