Antawn Jamison- returns to practice: Jamison practiced with the Cavaliers on Monday and is expected to play in Tuesday's preseason game. A few days ago Jamison was listed as questionable, but his knee seems to be feeling better and he should be ready to go on Tuesday against the Bobcats.
Mario Chalmers- ankle still not 100 percent: Chalmers said Monday that he feels his ankle is "a couple of weeks away from being 100 percent". Chalmers watched Monday's practice from the sideline and is starting to slide behind Carlos Arroyo in the battle for the starting point guard position. Even if Chalmers manages to recover quickly and win the job, scoring opportunities will be few and far between on a loaded Heat roster with plenty of players who need the ball in their hands. Plus, there's a real chance that Miami employs Dwyane Wade or LeBron James in the point guard spot in the second half of games.
Samuel Dalembert (left adductor strain)- will not play Tuesday: Dalembert will not play in Sacramento's preseason opener Tuesday against the Suns. The Kings haven't said much about the injury, but Dalembert has been dealing with it for roughly a week. In all likelihood, he's being held out as a precaution to ensure that he's healthy and ready to go for the start of the regular season.
Baron Davis (knee)- back at practice: Davis was back at Clippers' practice on Monday. It will likely take Davis a bit of time to get into playing shape, but all things considered the veteran should be 100 percent before the start of the season.
T.J. Ford- dealing with hamstring strain: Ford missed most of Monday's practice because of a right hamstring strain. No word yet on the severity of the injury, but it doesn't sound like it's all that serious. The Pacers' offseason acquisition of Darren Collison crushed most of Ford's fantasy value anyway.
Kirk Hinrich (shoulder)- returns to practice: Hinrich (shoulder) returned to practice on Monday. Nothing too serious here at this point. The Wizards don't plan on using Hinrich too much this preseason to keep him fresh for the regular season. Hinrich will most likely be the first guard off the bench most nights for the Wizards in 2010-11.
Andres Nocioni- limited by ankle: Nocioni was limited to non-contact drills in Monday's practice. Nocioni will not play in Tuesday's preseason game against the Nets, but he's getting closer to a return. Coach Doug Collins is hopeful that Nocioni will be cleared to begin scrimmaging by the end of the week.
James Harden- returns to practice: Harden returned to full practice participation Monday. Harden had been sitting out with concussion-like symptoms since bumping heads with Daequan Cook in practice last Thursday. Oklahoma City may hold Harden out of Wednesday's preseason game as a precaution, but he won't be out for long.
