I'm taking opinions on whether to start CFB threads. There is very little chance I'll mess with the NFL unless I can get some kind of challenge going with Liss. He whines about paying off, though.

You can't lose what you don't put in the middle. But you can't win very much, either.

New York (NL) +168, 1.5 units. Outside of a midseason fugue, Mike Pelfrey has been one of the best pitchers in a deep NL this season. I'll take a big price against a Braves team that is prone to bad nights at the plate.

Baltimore +186, one unit. Jake Arrieta against the darned Red Sox.

Detroit +136, two units. Max Scherzer has been one of the five best pitchers in the AL since returning from his demotion.

Texas/Kansas City over 9.5 (+100), four units. I don't remotely understand this number. You've seen me fade and bet overs on Tommy Hunter all year, and the combination of him and Bullington -- and the Royals' middle relief -- is just this side of free money.

Colorado -107, 1.5 units. Putting my money where my mouth is on the Rockies again, and also a small fade of Tim Lincecum.
