That's another season high reached. If you'd started with a bankroll of $10,000 and a unit size of $100, you'd have an extra $3600 in front of you this evening. Hard to find a better investment than that. (If you were less conservative and used a higher unit size, you'd be up more.) I still don't think there's much productive season left -- the tight NL races will help -- but I'm now fairly confident of finishing the regular season in the black, and perhaps by enough to justify the effort.
I can go on busting you up all night.
Washington +164, one unit. Big fan of Jordan Zimmermann, who comes back from the DL tonight and could make people forget Stephen Strasburg. OK, maybe not, but he's a good pitcher and undervalued here.
Detroit +124, one unit. Max Scherzer continues to pitch well since his recall, and while the line reflects that more than I'd like, I'll take him at plus money.
Baltimore +175, one unit. Jake Arrieta. I'd like this more if they hadn't won last night behind Brian Matusz.
Minnesota/Texas under 7.5 (+100), two units. I don't understand the line. The teams were at seven in the first two games of the series without two Cy Young contenders pitching. Seems trappy, but we'll go with it.
