OK, so the Arizona/Milwaukee total was a trap. Good to know.
There are a lot of games that I'm barely even looking at. Two bad teams more or less evenly matched area don't create much value. When you get past those games, though, you still see some opportunities. I feel like there are maybe two, three good weeks left, if that. Then it's gettinh very picky over the last month.
All the luck in the world isn't going to change anything for these guys.
Philadelphia -131, two units. Better team at home, slightly better starter as well. I like Chad Billingsley a lot, just not against the Phillies at CBP.
New York (AL) +155, two units. It's not as if we haven't seen the Rangers lose with Cliff Lee on the mound. A strike-throwing power righthander such as Vazquez is a strong matchup against them.
Minnesota/Chicago (AL) under 9.5 (-110), two units. Glen Perkins back from the dead...this is a pleasant surprise. I was a fan back when he was a prospect, and I'll stay a fan tonight. This line is inflated for two teams not quite as good at the plate as they've looked lately.
Pittsburgh +178, one unit. I'm a James McDonald fan. He's capable of shutting down good lineups, and the Padres come a little shy of that on their best nights. McDonald might end starting Opening Day for the Pirates next season.
