Key is skimming top layer.  I have a definite goal heading into the All-Star break, a number in mind, but that's just an arbitrary number and an arbitrary date. It's all one long game.

San Francisco +137, four units. Yeah, this line is an overreaction to Stephen Strasburg. Matt Cain is no worse a pitcher, maybe better. The Giants, quietly, are a much better team in the wake of the Bengie Molina deal, with Travis Ishikawa playing more and Buster Posey getting his time behind the plate. This is the biggest number of the year so far.

Cincinnati/Philadelphia over 9 (-120), two units. I was on the fence between this and the Phillies, and not in love with the latter. When it dropped from 9.5 to 9, it made the choice easier. Fading Mike Leake again, and on a good Reds offense against a flyball pitcher.

Houston +163, one unit. Bud Norris is pretty good, not sure what we'll get from the Cardinals coming down from Colorado; Rany Jazayerli once found evidence of a post-Denver effect on hitters.

Baltimore +182, one unit. Brian Matusz is good, and as much as the Rangers will be better for the acquisition of Cliff Lee, tonight, they're down Justin Smoak and Lee can't help them.
