Picks, 6|FRONTS|9|FRONTS|11

I haven't been punched in the mouth in 30 years, but if I remember correctly, this is pretty much what it feels like.

Nothing you can do but breathe through it. The processes are in place, the decision-making is solid, I've looked after the last 10 days and I'm comfortable that I'm not missing anything critical. It's variance, and it's kicking my ass at the moment. What you cling to is this: we're down less than a unit for the year.

Tonight:

Baltimore +220, one unit. Yeah, we're going to be doing this with some frequency.

Cincinnati -118, one unit. I'm pushing it a little, but Aaron Harang is a little undervalued and the Giants are run by people who apparently get bonuses for losses.

Seattle/Texas over 9.5 (-120), 1.5 units. Very torn between this and the Mariners at +190. C.J. Wilson will likely set a career high for innings tonight, and the last 20 or so haven't been fun to watch.

Los Angeles (NL) +102, two units. This is a great, great pitching matchup. Kershaw at home is enough to get me to go against one of my favorite pitchers in Adam Wainwright. The Dodgers' bullpen is really coming around after starting the season awful.

Los Angeles (AL), +130, one unit.  Dallas Braden is overvalued. Not terribly excited about Saunders, but this is the better team at plus money.
