Player A was widely considered a first-round pick in drafts this season, while Player B typically went in the third or fourth round. Both players play in hitter's parks, and both play the same position. Let's look at their stats for 2009:
Player A: Age 27, 530 AB, 29 HR, 80 RBI, 89 Runs, 29 SB, .249/.320/.481 (.801 OPS)
Player B: Age 28, 582 AB, 20 HR, 94 RBI, 72 Runs, 25 SB, .279/.334/.456 (.790 OPS)
Player A's BABIP is only .242 (career .311 not including this year) while Player B's in .290 (career .289). So maybe player A will bounce back a bit next year, though keep in mind that his .339 BABIP in 2008 looks like an outlier - otherwise his career mark not including this year is closer to .290 also.
It's probably not too hard to guess who these guys are. The question is how far apart you draft them next season. Personally, I'd draft player A only half a round ahead of player B, probably mid-to-late second and early-third, respectively.
