Forget about where Michael Vick or even Matt Cassel will wind up, apparently Haynesworth, will test the free-agent market.
Typically, the highest paid and most sought-after players impact the passing game - quarterbacks, left tackles, top wideouts, top tier corners, but Haynesworth is the rare run-stuffing tackle who also provides a serious push up the middle - which is often more disruptive to a passing play than a defensive end getting pressure from the outside. He'll also command double teams and keep blockers off the linebackers.
Consider the impact Kris Jenkins made for the Jets defense a year ago - Haynesworth is two years younger and significantly better at getting to the quarterback.
The offensive signings will get more ink, but Haynesworth will probably make the bigger impact.
