The FanDuel Partners Basketball Championship (FPBC) has lined up nine sites within the fantasy sports industry to take part in a daily fantasy NBA contest that occurs each Wednesday and Friday over a five-week period. With four legs of the journey behind us, RotoWire sits comfortably in fourth after posting its first 300-point night of the competition last Friday, riding the trio of Giannis Antetokounmpo (61.8 FanDuel points), Alex Len (51 FDP), and Kyle Lowry (44 FDP) to a second-place finish.

Kyrie Irving, PG, CLE at SAC ($7,200) – Presented with a matchup against a leaky Kings backcourt, Irving is among the most reliable options across Wednesday's nine-game slate. Since he was knocked out of a Feb. 21 tilt in Oklahoma City due to illness, he's recorded 20-plus points and at least four assists in seven of eight games, but defensive counting stats have also been prevalent (10 steals and four blocks total). The preceding has helped him enter 40-FDP territory on three occasions en route to 33.9 FDP per game during that stretch. With merely two additional FDP on the ledger Wednesday, he would approach five times (5X) his value, which is certainly conceivable versus a Sacramento defense that has conceded the fourth-most FDP (43.5) to points guards in 2015-16 (per RotoWire's NBA Defense vs. Position Stats tool).
Devin Booker, SG, PHO vs NYK ($5,700) – James Harden is the darling of the SG ranks, with at least 45 FDP in 11 of the last 12 outings. Going deeper, he's surpassed 5X his current sticker price 50 percent of the time, which Booker can't claim to have accomplished. However, Booker and Alex Len are the sole healthy bodies that also double as offensive spark plugs in Phoenix. Considering the Knicks hold the 11th-worst defensive efficiency (105.1 points per 100 possessions) and the Suns boast the fourth-fastest pace factor (100.4 possessions per game) in the league, Booker could have plenty of opportunities to display his smooth stroke from deep. Over the past five games, his shot has proved true, as he's averaged 29.8 FDP per contest while returning the most value among Wednesday's options at two-guard, according to RotoWire's Daily Fantasy Value Report.
Furthering the Booker narrative Wednesday is a previous appearance against the Knicks, against whom he tallied 24.5 FDP in 27 minutes on Jan. 29. Prorated to his workload during the last five – 37.4 minutes per game – the preceding equates to 33.9 FDP.
Robert Covington, SF, PHI vs HOU ($5,700) – Pitting two of the NBA's top seven teams in terms of pace factor, the Sixers and Rockets appropriately have been handed the most-elevated over/under (220) of the evening. Covington himself runs hot and cold, so a glance at his game log reveals that owners may be able to profit. With contributions across the board, he's averaging 14.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.3 three-pointers, 2.0 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.3 blocks in 34 minutes on his way to precisely 30 FDP per game in the last six. Granted, his floor isn't desirable – 21.5 and 18.5 FDP in a back-to-back to wrap up February – but he's ranged between 5.2 and 6.9X his price tag in the other tilts. If one recalls a particular early-season performance, he torched the Rockets for 57.9 FDP (28 points, eight steals, seven rebounds, five steals, and one block in 38 minutes) in a 116-114 barn-burner of a defeat on Nov. 27.
JaMychal Green, PF, MEM at BOS ($4,600) – Just two days removed from a 48-FDP outburst, Green is in the midst of another foray into DFS relevance. Posting 16 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, four steals, and two blocks again may be a tall order, but there's little doubt that significant run will be available with Zach Randolph (knee), Chris Andersen (shoulder), Brandan Wright (knee) still out of commission. The $900 boost in salary shouldn't deter prospective owners from taking a test drive Wednesday with the hope that 25-30 FDP is his floor at the moment.
Hassan Whiteside, C, MIA at MIL ($8,700) – After blood clots befell Chris Bosh for the second year in a row, the potential existed for Whiteside to enter the Heat's starting five, but he's instead lit up all comers as a member of the bench mob. Afforded three more minutes nightly since the break, Whiteside has notched double-doubles in eight of the past nine games en route to 45.5 FDP per outing. In fact, he hasn't deviated too far from the mean during that span, with 32.7 FDP representing his floor, while achieving at least 5X his current price on five instances. The lowest over/under (198.5) of the night may scare off interested parties, but in his sole matchup with the Bucks this season, he augmented 23 points with 18 boards, two blocks, and one assist in 35 minutes for a 44.6-FDP display on Jan. 19.
