There certainly was no shortage of activity at the Trade Deadline!

With lots of faces in new places, it's time to reset and look ahead at the rest of the season.

John Collins was among the hottest names leading up to the trade deadline, but it looks as though the Hawks will keep the big man in place. 

Collins has seen his role and usage rate diminish considerably over the last few seasons, but the Hawks apparently did not receive any offers appealing enough to convince them to part ways with the Wake Forest product.

The Warriors have acquired Gary Payton II from the Trail Blazers as part of a multi-team deal that involves Kevin Knox, as well as multiple future second-rounders.

Payton, of course, spent time with the Warriors in 2020-21 and was a key piece, especially on the defensive end, for the Warriors 2021-22 title-winning team. He missed significant time due to injury to begin the season and only appeared in 15 games as a member of the Trail Blazers. 

The New Orleans Pelicans added some wing depth, bringing in Josh Richardson from San Antonio in exchange for Devonte' Graham, as well as four future second-round picks.

Richardson joins a much better basketball situation in New Orleans, but the Pelicans have plenty of pieces on the wing already, so he's unlikely to have much fantasy value in the near future.

The Clippers continue to retool their roster at the deadline, most recently adding big man Mason Plumlee from the Hornets. In exchange, the Clips will send Reggie Jackson to Charlotte.

The trade will likely take a significant bite out of Plumlee's fantasy value, as he'll have trouble matching the nearly 30 minutes per game he was seeing in Charlotte. Meanwhile, rookie center Mark Williams becomes a much more valuable fantasy asset the rest of the way.

The Hornets' intentions with Jackson are unclear at this time. They could keep him around, but as a rebuilding team likely looking for younger pieces, it's possible Jackson could be on the move again.

As part of a three-team deal involving the Clippers, Rockets and Grizzlies, Luke Kennard and John Wall will head from Los Angeles to Memphis.

Kennard will bring shooting and guard depth to Memphis, while the expectation is that Wall will be either re-routed or bought out by the Grizzlies. The veteran guard, who's dealt with a slew of injuries, has not appeared in a game for the Clippers since Jan. 13.

Eric Gordon is on the move, with Houston sending him west to the Clippers.

The Rockets were widely expected to deal the veteran, who began his NBA career with the Clippers back in 2008-09. At this stage of his career, he's more of a role player, though Gordon remains a strong scoring threat, posting 13.1 points per game on 43.9 percent shooting in 47 games (all starts) for the Rockets.

The trade is part of a three-team deal that also involves the Grizzlies.

In an effort to add more frontcourt depth, the Lakers traded Patrick Beverley and a second-round pick for the Magic's Mo Bamba. The big man's role has fluctuated this season, but for his career, he's averaging 7.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 18.3 minutes while shooting 36.0 percent from distance.

With Thomas Bryant sent out in a separate trade, Bamba figures to slide in as the backup center behind Anthony Davis.

Early indications are that Beverley will likely be re-routed, and the Timberwolves could be his landing spot.

The Thunder were likely not interested in giving Bazley a contract extension, as the fourth-year pro's rookie deal expires this summer. Now, he'll provide athletic frontcourt depth for the Suns, who are clearly looking to win a title this season after trading for Kevin Durant.

The James Wiseman era in Golden State is over, as the front office has finally pulled the plug on the whiffed draft pick. The Warriors will receive five second-round picks in the deal, which also sends Saddiq Bey to the Hawks. Wiseman will compete with rookie Jalen Duren for center minutes, while Saddiq Bey figures to be the first forward off the bench for Atlanta.

Recently, it became clear that Hyland and the Nuggets' coaching staff didn't see eye-to-eye on his role, so Denver became active in shopping the young guard. Two second-round picks aren't much and don't help the Nuggets win now, so this trade will clearly have more of an impact for the Clippers this season. The Clippers are rumored to be shopping John Wall, so Hyland could take the veteran's minutes.

John Collins has been rumored to be on the block for years, but maybe this will finally be the time he gets moved. Despite adding Dejounte Murray over the summer, the Hawks are struggling, sitting at 27-28 -- eighth place in the Eastern Conference.

Minnesota is waiving Bryn Forbes to open up a roster spot, and he will be an option for contending teams looking for help from long range.

As part of the deal where the Bucks acquired Jae Crowder from the Nets, Milwaukee will send George Hill and Serge Ibaka to the Pacers. It's possible both veterans become buyout candidates and later sign with contenders.

 Bulls players have been a popular topic around the deadline, and Zach LaVine could be on the move.

The 76ers, Trail Blazers and Hornets worked out a three-team deal that sends Matisse Thybulle to the Blazers, Jalen McDaniels to the 76ers and Svi Mykhailiuk and multiple second-round picks to the Hornets. 

Even after parting ways with Russell Westbrook and bringing in D'Angelo Russell, Jared Vanderbilt and Malik Beasley as part of Wednesday's three-team trade, the Lakers' NBA Championship odds haven't markedly improved.

Immediately following the deal, the Lakers' odds shortened to 30/1 at the DraftKings Sportsbook. But in light of Kevin Durant joining the Phoenix Suns early Thursday morning, Los Angeles' odds soared up to 50/1. Phoenix is now installed as the odds-on favorite to emerge from the Western Conference, with the Suns' title odds now resting at +425 over at DraftKings.

Full details have emerged from Wednesday night's three-team deal between the Lakers, Timberwolves and Jazz, which sends Westbrook to Utah and Mike Conley to Minnesota.

It's widely expected that Westbrook will be bought out by Utah, at which point he'd be able to sign with another team. Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports that the Bulls and Clippers would both have interest in the veteran guard.

The Lakers continue to make tweaks to their roster ahead of the deadline, and this most recent move should help alleviate their frontcourt logjam. They'll send Bryant to Denver in exchange for Davon Reed and three future second-round picks.

Bryant filled in well while Anthony Davis was injured, but the Lakers no longer have a glaring need for the big man. In Denver, he'll compete with DeAndre Jordan for backup center minutes behind Nikola Jokic.

The Indiana Pacers are involved in Thursday's deal that sends Jae Crowder to Milwaukee. The Pacers will receieve Jordan Nwora from the Bucks, as well as a pair of future second-round picks. 

Indiana will subsequently waive Goga Bitadze, who was the 18th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.

The Bucks made a move to acquire veteran wing Jae Crowder, who was initially traded to the Nets on Thursday as part of the Kevin Durant blockbuster. Milwaukee will out send a whopping five second-round picks in the deal. 

The Boston Celtics shored up their frontcourt depth by adding Mike Muscala, reinforcing the big man rotation of Al Horford, Rob Williams, Luke Kornet and Blake Griffin. The Thunder add a couple of picks and take a chance on journeyman Justin Jackson. The move should open up center minutes for rookie Jaylin Williams as well.

Damian Lillard is averaging 32.5 ppg since the start of the December, so he would have no shortage of suitors should the Trail Blazers want to make a move. However, he has committed to Portland multiple times in the past, and it does not appear he has any interest in being moved before the deadline.

Late Wednesday night, the Knicks acquired Josh Hart from the Trail Blazers in exchange for Cam Reddish, a lottery-protected 2023 first-round pick, Ryan Arcidiacono and Svi Mykhailiuk. The first-rounder turns into four future second-rounders if it does not convey in 2023.

Hart represents an immediate upgrade on the wing for the Knicks, while Portland gets a chance at developing Reddish, the 10th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.

Before trading for Kevin Durant, the Suns were +1800 to win the NBA title. Now, Phoenix is +425 at the DraftKings Sportsbook.

Only the Celtics (+350) have shorter odds, followed by the Suns, Bucks (+700), Nuggets (+800), 76ers (+950) and Clippers (+950).

The Phoenix Suns and Brooklyn Nets have agreed on a trade to send Kevin Durant to the Suns for Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, four first-round picks, and more.
