Trey Supak

Supak impressed in his return trip to Double-A Biloxi, earning Pitcher of the Year honors in the Southern League by going 11-4 with a 2.20 ERA and league-best 0.87 WHIP in 20 starts (122.2 innings) for the Shuckers. The 23-year-old came within one out of a no-hitter twice, illustrating his impressive form with Biloxi. He earned a promotion to Triple-A San Antonio at the end of July but struggled in his first tour of the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League, posting a 9.30 ERA and 1.67 WHIP in seven starts (30 innings) with the Missions. While the 6-foot-5 righty doesn't miss many bats (career 7.8 K/9), he could develop into a reliable back-end starter thanks to his above-average control (career 2.6 BB/9) and a four-pitch repertoire. Supak figures to return to Triple-A for more seasoning to begin the 2020 campaign, though he should make his big-league debut at some point assuming he holds his own.
